Where is Georgia ?
Georgia is not far from central Europe, it's a "middle range" destination.
By plane it takes 4/5 hours, if you prefer the "overland solution"...is a bit mor complicated.
From London to Batumi is about 5.100 chilometers.
How to get there ?
You can get there, either travel overland by bus or car from Turkey, entering via Sarp on the Black Sea coast but the main way is flying directly to Tbilisi.
Tbilisi International Airport opened in November 2006 and is about 20 km from the city centre. A new and very modern airport terminal has been inaugurated on February 7, 2007.
